FAQs

  • How much does the Infection Control Course and Certification cost?

This two-hour course is normally $19.95, but is FREE through June 30, 2020.

  • I learned infection control in school. Why should I take this course?

You are correct. Infection control was one of the first topics you learned in school. You are already trained and licensed to protect clients and have already been practicing safety and infection control on a daily basis. But with so much uncertainty on what our clients will expect from us when we do return, why not refresh your knowledge and give your clients that extra assurance you are committed to their safety and well-being. Your clients will appreciate—even expect—to see that you are up-to-date on the latest infection control protocol.

  • Does the certification ever expire?

The course expires 2 years from the day you complete and pass the course.

  • How do I prepare for the Infection Control Certification exam?

You simply sign up and take the course. After you complete the course, there is final exam based on the information in the course.

  • How many questions is the exam?

There are 25 questions on the final exam.

  • What is the passing grade for the exam?

You must achieve a 70% score on the final exam to pass and become certified.

  • If I fail the exam will I be able to retake it?

Yes, you can retake the test in the event you don’t achieve the 70% required score.

  • Is this course different than the Infection Control course I saw on miladypro.com?

It is the same course we have on miladypro.com with a few minor changes. The course we have listed on miladypro.com has a fee of $19.95 which is our normal fee for this continuing education course. We are offering this course and certification for free right now for all current/future beauty and wellness professionals.

  • What other materials do you have to help us prepare to return to our salon/ spa/ barbershop?

Figuring out the best, safest way to reopen your salon, spa or barbershop may seem overwhelming. We have created an easy-to-use downloadable protocol checklist, in-salon signage, and a sample letter to help make the process easier. Use the tools as part of your reopening plan let your clients know you took the extra step to ensure their safety and well-being.

Testimonials

I highly recommend it.

As a new esthetician and long time healthcare worker I can say this course was significantly informative and well put together. I highly recommend it.

You may think you know everything about disinfection... think again

by Mariana S. on April 30, 2020

This was a great course! Very thorough and informative! Other similar courses barely a refresher of what we learned in school, but this went much more in-depth! I learned new things I never knew! Thank you, Milady!

Excellent Course!

by Robin T. on April 29, 2020

I've taken three other courses on the subject matter of sanitation, disinfection and the spread of bacteria/disease. However, I must say that THIS course was by far the most thorough, concise, detailed down to video clips and overall presentation.

I recommend this course 100%.

It was practical, easy, with a lot of information, with a lot of resources. I love it. Great online course from Milady

Very informative and actually I really enjoyed it.

by Caroline L.

Wow. I just took this class to meet my requirements but I found it to be very informative and actually I really enjoyed it. I was overwhelmed at some of the information and although I am very clean and I work in a very safe and clean environment and I do disinfect properly, it was very eye opening to learn all of this information. Thank you.
