  • How long is this training course?

    The training course should take you anywhere from 4-5 hours, depending on your current comfort level with MindTap, technology, and how long you take to practice what you learn. You may take the course at your own pace, stopping and starting as it fits your schedule.

  • Are there any pre-requisites for this training course?

    There are no pre-requisites for this course, but we strongly suggest taking MindTap Fundamentals Course for maximum understanding of this course.

  • Will I receive a certificate of completion?

    Upon successful completion of the training course and earning at least 70% on the final exam, you will receive a certificate of completion.

  • When is the best time to take this course?

    We recommend giving yourself at least 8 weeks to prepare to use MindTap. The first steps to successful implementation are to take this free MindTap for Educators course, as well as the free MindTap Fundamentals Course.

  • Why should I take this training course?

    No matter if you are teaching an in-school, hybrid, or distance education program, this course will prepare you for the essentials of taking your MindTap skills to the next level. You'll understand how to utilize MindTap in a way that keeps students engaged and inspired.

  • How is the course structured?

    There are six primary lessons in the training course with an assessment at the end of each lesson as well as a final exam. You must pass the final exam with a score of 70% in order to obtain the certificate of completion.

  • Does this count as credit towards my Master Educator Certification?

    Upon completion of this training course, you will receive one (1) credit toward your Milady Master Educator Certification.
